Numerical Investigation of the Vortex Breaker for A Dynamic Separator using Computational Fluid Dynamics

The separation efficiency and pressure drop of the dynamic separator cement particles can be affected by many factors, like structural type, geometric parameters, operating characteristics. In this paper, CFD modeling is applied to investigate fluid flow behavior industrial with different heights inner cone called vortex breaker. Simulations are based on RSM DPM models. A comparison original design new designs has been performed. simulation results showed that inside air greatly dependent height Interesting phenomena were observed numerical simulations revealed an increase in breaker up three-quarters magnitude fine powder outlet duct improve performances particle not only reducing 29% cut size, 40% bypassing but also increasing 30% sharpness while keeping substantially unchanged.
